Welcome to High Desert Gold
Corporation
High Desert Gold Corporation is
an Canadian based mineral exploration company listed on the Toronto
Stock Exchange (TSX) under the symbol HDG (HDG.WT for warrants).
High Desert Gold Corporation is
a mineral exploration company that acquires and explores mineral
properties, primarily gold, copper and silver in Mexico and the United
States. HDG has a number of wholly owned exploration properties in
well-mineralized but relatively unexplored areas of Mexico and the
United States including strategic land holdings near two world
class deposits; i.e. La Herradura (gold-silver) and Tyrone (copper -
gold). The Company's focus is the Canasta Dorada Gold Project (near Caborca, Mexico) in northern Sonora, Mexico and Gold Lake
Copper - Gold Project (near Silver City, New Mexico) where exploration has identified several
promising prospects.
Gold - widespread disseminated plus one gpt
gold at surface.
Large land position - 448 sq. km
Similarities to Newmont/Penoles La
Herradura Gold Deposit - 6 million oz
First Phase Drilling Completed
Gold Lake - New Mexico:
The Company has identified a
porphyry copper-molybdenum-gold target at Gold Lake which is
expressed through surface geochemistry, strong porphyry-style
alteration and a large Self Potential (“SP”) geophysical
anomaly. The Gold Lake property may represent the upper-level
expression of a porphyry copper-molybdenum-gold system, with
an area of leached cap having been identified with elevated
copper-molybdenum-gold geochemistry over an area of
approximately 2.9 kilometres by 1.0 kilometre. The Company
plans to drill approximately 3,000 metres of core during this
initial program. The drill holes are positioned to test a
portion of the large copper in soil anomaly as well as the SP
geophysical anomaly.
