Gold Springs - Nevada/Utah


T
he Gold Springs 60/40 JV with Pilot Gold Inc. is a volcanic hosted epithermal gold target within the prolific Great Basin Province form which ~6 million ounces of gold and ~8 million ounces of silver are produced annually.
Fourteen high priority targets containing rock chip samples of +1 gpt Au have been identified thus far.

The Company recently completed the Phase I drill program at project. The program was successful in extending the known gold mineralization within the main Jumbo Zone and also intersected a second, deeper zone in one drill hole that has the potential to further extend the mineralization. The Company completed a total of 11 reverse-circulation drill holes for a total of 5,980 feet or 1,822.7 metres.

Canasta Dorada - Sonora, Mexico

The Company’s Canasta Dorada gold property in Sonora, Mexico has now been transferred into the newly formed Highvista Gold Corp. As previously announced, Norvista Resources Corporation (see HDG PR10-16, October 7, 2010) exercised its right to earn a 51% interest in this entity by funding it with $1.75 million. HDG’s 49% share consists of approximately 11.2  million shares.
